I first had the opportunity to visit this place on a warm June afternoon. As soon as I stepped inside, I was met with the mouthwatering aroma of freshly cooked food. The staff were friendly, but as per usual in Paris they took their time to greet us and collect our order. This was something that took a little while to get used to coming from the U.S. where, at times, it can almost feel like staff is hovering around you. I had the duck breast with a side of mushroom mashed potatoes topped with beets, a unique and delicious combination that lived up to its French food reputation. The food was delicious. To top it all off I had a glass of refreshing white wine – making this meal truly memorable!
